EMMA RENHUNG LUKE WELCH
Emma Welch (she/they) graduated from Pratt Institute (Brooklyn, NY) with a BFA in Communications Design (Graphic Design) and a minor in Social Justice. They also recieved an Associates degree in Illustration. I am fluent in the Adobe Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) and also work in collage and analog mediums.
I am an ethics driven designer who is committed to the politics of design and the repositioning of design as a socially engaged practice. My thesis work at Pratt examined the relationship between consumerism and the teaching methods of design in higher education. In my professional work, I have a continuous goal of producing purposeful work in collaboration with a team that shares like values.
